Public Service Academy

The City of Gainesville has introduced a new educational program for area youth and young adults interested in public service professions. The Public Service Academy is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in communications, first aid and emergency management. The pilot program will prepare them for the education and training needed for positions at the Gainesville Police Department, Gainesville Fire Rescue and Gainesville Regional Utilities.
